Unable to import HEIF and HEVC files in RealityCapture

Still unable to import your RAW, HEVC or HEIF files? 

Before going further please read Image and video codecs and import formats on how to install WIC-enabled Image/ Video Extensions.

This is an example of how to repair the HEIF Image Extensions codec, but this solution is applicable also to other WIC-Enabled codecs like RAW Image Extension, HEVC Image Extension, etc. 

If you cannot drag and drop and import HEIF inputs to RealityCapture, please go to: 

1. Windows Settings 
2. Apps & Features 
3. Search for „heif“ 
4. Click on advanced options for HEIF Image Extensions 
5. Click on reset 
6. Repeat for other WIC-Enabled Extension if you are experiencing problems with their functionality
