Hi Guys,
As HDR panos are being used with lidar and is a standard pipeline practice it might be good to implement a spherical camera model to register and project panorama imagery as textures.

For this to work E57 format will need to be supported - as you can export individual images, angles for those images and a point cloud.
Using a pre-stitched panorama does not work very well from experience - but I'm interested if someone has found a way.
The e57 support for point-cloud import has just been released -> Version 1.0.2.1976 RC release
