simplify mesh base problems when exported

The mesh base is messed up on exported simplified model.

  what mean under messed up ? can circle the issues so can easier understand it ?

  There are triangle faces sticking out of the side of the base mesh. The side of the base mesh should be flat.

  Hi Bill,
  this looks like a real bug. We are working on a completely new simplification algorithm so it will vanish upon release.

  As an interim workaround on the "reduced" model I've been using MeshMixer to do a plane cut around the sides and extrude the outer edge (if required)... then import back to RC for the texture
