I've been looking closely at my projects to date and one of the problems I've had with full frame fisheye images is getting tie points in the outer edges of the frame. The circular appearance of the edge of tie points suggests that the distortion parameters are still off a bit and while a good model can be created from the central portion of the image, there is a sudden increase in reprojection error towards the edges. A couple of things I've found that improve this situation is to run an alignment with a higher max. reprojection error (eg 16) first and then reduce it for a second alignment, and adding scale bars. Will post some screengrabs later of some of my tests but in the meantime I'm open to suggestions.
