    Hi Manuel

Grouping is highly dependent on a CPU and storage, so it is best if the CACHE location is on an SSD and not mechanical HDD ( the difference on large dataset can be significant, even tens of hours ).

As for the CACHE access issues, we had never observed them before... What Windows are you using exactly? Have you set everything properly in the ACCOUNT privilleges etc?

I am on the middle of processing a large data set, Can I change the cache location to an SSD without losing the depthmap calculation by just moving the existing cache files to the new designed location?

We are using a Windows 10 Pro license, all privilleges are set to full control :( Can I send you some kind of log or something?

    Hi Manuel

YES, it is possible. Just stop the process, SAVE the scene, change the CACHE PATH in RC --> EXIT RC, copy the CACHE data to the path you set, run RC and it will continue.

As for the folder access issues, it is hard to say what can be the cause but, as I have said, we have not observed this sort of issues…

    Hi Wishgranter,

I also have problems that after a while my computer with 32GB ram freezes up on larger scenes.

With stopping the process do you mean PAUZE or ABORT calculation?
Just trying to get it right.

    Thanks!

    Hi Sander Diels

you need to CANCEL - EXIT the process to stop it using/rewriting some data in the CACHE. Then just run RC again and it will use the CACHE data...
