Bad quality scan from Sony A7r2
Answered
Hi.
I bought Sony A7R2 to make best details I can. Camera have 42 Mp sensor.
Also I put sony kit lens on it - 28-70.
And... result its terrible.
I got Bad Noise scans same on CapturingRealyty and on Photoscan.
But, my old cam (Canon 60D + Canon lens) did a Perfect result.
Changing lens model from browl 3 to browl 4 helps a bit, but result still bad as hell. Useless. ((
You can see in attachment compare.

Hi Yegor
Can you make a screenshot of the cameras in the scene ? and one image for actual view on the subject's surface (structure) ?
Can you send the Sony camera RAW data to my email milos.lukac@capturingreality.com ? -
I'm curious what you hear back on this... the photo you posted looks pretty clear, maybe a little bit noisy, but there is so much texture on the object it shouldn't matter.
Are all of your scans with the A7Rii like this? Maybe it's due to the IBIS? (in body image stabilization) Try turning off the image stabilization and see if the scans are still noisy.
I was considering a Sony A7Rii but now I'm having second thoughts. The IBIS was a big selling point. -
Hi Yegor and others.
In short, after inspection of the data, the image parts are blurry, but that could be solved by having more good images ( sharp ones). But almost every image from the total 108 is with blurs, some of them with more than 2 pixels, so the overall quality is pretty bad… -
Im tired
Its very difficult to achieve good Expected result.
Sometime to a very quick session and all works fine will small count of photos, but usually its trash..
I noticed - more photos - more problems.
And most problematic - aligns.
For example lust one (attached).
Was did very carefull session (from hand but 1/200, f9 and so on).
Lots of photos from different angles. But, I don`t know how its important - focus was different. I did 2 circles around from one distance and come closer to take attention to important parts and did few circles around with different focus.
May it affect to hard?
Also I did some tests with flat objects.
And in all test scan its bend..
So seems its really lens distorsion make affect or something like accumulative error at alings.
