    Hi Digital

Please take a look at this post: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=146&hilit=depth+maps#p704

And let us know if you would prefer depth maps reconstructed form a particular image or get "synthetic" ones.
Under “synthetic” it could be a combination of depth maps from other images, so you would get a "virtual-synthetic" view.

    Hi Wishgranter
    Thank for your reply
I am thinking about depth maps for example to measure true distance directly from image ( height of building, width of road, ..) .

I wanted to check in on this feature.  I'd like to see why we're seeing so many perturbations in difference surfaces that should have more smooth consistency.  And it would be helpful to view the depthmap data in relation to the source image.

If an export tool would take a while, is there a way to read the depth maps files from the cache?  Are they in a more or less standard format with custom header to associate to the image id in the cache directory?

    Thanks!

Seth, you can display depth maps in the 2D ORTHO tab - in its Source part there is a Depth button for this purpose; you can also switch there back to the Image
