    Thanks!

That's a bit invonvenient though since I need to compare the two models and see how much it has improved...

RC-Team, ist that a bug or a feature?

are you looking for a workflow to get everything in and out at the same location?

you should set project/output to world-co-ordinates.

work out what x,y offset you need to re-zero it. and then save this in a text doc.

I've found this to work quite well. keeping everything the same over quite a few different projects in the same area.

    Hey chris,

in most cases I work with geo-referenced models, either by theodolite or laserscan.
So the absolute position is not an issue, even going back and forth between different programs.

I only want to be able to compare models in-program by switching between components.
Often it is fine, but sometimes there is a significant shift.
It does NOT concern absolute coordinates but the RELATIVE position on the grid and in relation to the viewport.
I find that really weird and unintuitive.
Might open a bug-report about this...
