RC Linear Workflow?
This is a question and probably also a feature request but here's the deal:
I need to be able to work in linear texture space, this involves using linear images (32bit tiffs) which I can do but I'm pretty sure RC interprets them as SRGB because they change appearance much like when I convert them myself. I also am not sure how or if it is possible to export a 32bit image (exr, 32bit tiff, hdr, whatever). The other guy can do this, recognizing the 32 bit images as linear and exporting 32bit linear images, but I don't want to use the other guy...
Basically:
32bit linear color space support throughout the process?
Export as linear image?
Let me know if anyone has any ideas.

I have a high dynamic range project i'm working on now. It's a night time city street.
I haven't got an exact solution, but doing a log compression to the HDR (to get it into sRGB gamma space) and then expanding it back out later on could be a way to get some of that dynamic range back. Like they do for video colour space.
I'll let you know if I get anywhere!
