Output of georeferenced data
Answered
Hello there,
I am trying to achieve a workflow for the correct export of georeferenced data (pointcloud, surface model, orthophoto).
So far I have not managed to output anything I could work with, so I want to ask for some help here:
In a simple sample project, I have aerial images with standard GPS coordinates, Ground control points in UTM33N > converted to GPS.
So what I did is setup the project & output coordinate systems according to the system used in the images and ground control points. After export I have the following problems:
xyz cloud:
The coordinates don't make sense to me. It looks like a local system but somewhat weird:
0.217106 0.894019 117.158782
0.217108 0.894019 117.158653
0.217107 0.894020 117.183854
0.217107 0.894023 116.707789
0.217105 0.894025 117.031059
Only the height (Z) is correct.
digital surface model & orthophoto:
On the first try, my GIS application QGIS 2.18 immediately crashed upon trying to import the TIFs. So I calculated a new component from scratch.
On the second attempt, I get a weird repetition of the selected region. Again, only the altitudes seem to be correct.
I have made a couple of screenshots which I can hopefully attach below.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I need to get this right if I want to use RC for commercial projects later on.
Best regards,
Bodo

Do you mean by here, in Peru? If so, here is a list of coordinate systems used in Peru:
-
1.- I start programa with Coordinate Systems 5387 Peru96/UTM Zone 18S in: Project Coordinate System and Output Coordinate System (3.jpg)
2.- Pictures have Lat/long
3.- When proceded Ortophoto coordinate system is epsg:4326 - GPS (WGS 84) (not coordinate Project system) (1.jpg)
4.- Digital Surface Model export in epsg:4326 - GPS (WGS 84) (2.jpg y 4.jpg)
