When I'm creating textures I like to manually blend some of the areas myself.  I have a camera pointing right at the model's face so I like to use a part of the texture from that camera.  I need to manually do this using Gimp because sometimes I only want to use the eyes, or the mouth.  This requires me to create quite a few "single camera" textures, like sometimes from crotch, bust, feet, back of head, etc..  Its different for each scan.

So what I like is to be able to just create a texture from 1 or 2 cameras and be able to export only the texture file.  It also helps when the rest of the texture is black instead of interpolated colour 'cos then I can see the areas that have come from the actual camera.

    Hi Marcus,

you can deactivate auto fill for texturing, that should get you what you need...

    Reconstruction - Process - Settings - Coloring/Texturing - Fill in untextured parts

Thank you Gotz.  Very good tip!

Does anyone know if there's a way to disable/enable textures for selected images?  I can select multiple images, but when I click on "Tx" it only changes the one image.

Also, it would be great if I can just export texture without mesh 'cos sometimes I end up exporting around 11 textures.  Its not a show-stopper though, it just slows down the workflow

You can also deactivate the use for texturing by a flyout in the "Input" settings: Enable texturing and coloring. That works for any number of images.

I don't think you can export the texture only. There are a couple of feature requests where you could add your +1...
