Deleting control points

When I accidentally placed a control point on an image where this control point isn't visible, how would I delete it from just this image?

It is already placed in several other images where it should be, so I need it, and I can't generally remove it in the 1D view.

I read through the help file, but I didn't find that information.

  Ah, I got it, I need to expand the hierarchy so that it shows the image where it was placed. Then I delete the image. That's how it looks, but we all know what it means.

  hello again,

  you can also return some steps back by clicking the undo button at the top-left corner of the application
