Pay again for older projects?
I'm trying to export registration for some older projects and now that I have updated its asking to charge $ for the export. Shouldn't these projects get grandfathered in since I already paid for the software to process the images? This seems crazy to recharge for all my old projects?
And now the PGM price has gone up by a lot for a 1 month

I totally agree with this comment! I have hundreds of models I have processed under a paid license and now I have to pay to export them? Not Cool!

Hello,
You do not need any credit when you own a valid (paid) license, unless you created the project in the PPI mode and need to export the results right away.
Please navigate to the Application Settings / Licenses / Change application owner and click the Change button. Then enter your credentials for the CR account your license is associated to. Click Sign in. Choose your license, check the required fields and click Activate.
This should get you out of the PPI mode and stop the requests to buy any credits when trying to export. -
Hi Lucia
To confirm: projects created with an non PCM/PPI license can be open with a PCM license? -
projects created with a non-PPI version of RealityCapture can be opened with a valid (not expired) RealityCapture license and also with the PPI,
projects created with the PPI can be opened only with the PPI

Thanks Lucia.
Seems one of our user is experiencing issue opening an old project
With the latest 1.0.3.9303 Reality Capture Release, you are no longer able to access components created in previous versions of Reality Capture. All of the scenes that have been created here over the last 6 months and more are no longer accessible or of use to us. When you open a scene made in a previous version, it opens the images, the control points and no components or models are present in the scene.
