Road video
AnsweredI mounted my Go Pro camera (using 30 fps) on top of my truck and recorded a video from front view (with 50 mph speed) of a 0.5 mile section of a highway. When I tried to build a 3D point cloud of my video, the result was actually nothing except the first traffic sign that I passed... Can anyone help me with this case?
I have also tried to record several video from the same section of the road with camera aligned to different angle as well. (Camera toward front with three other alignment: toward front with 20 degree deviation , 40 degree, and 60 degree ...)

You should rather be moving around the subject than passing through even though this could really work if you as you say are changing the angles. Also you should be driving really slow and even if done there may be a motion blur present and the images aren't as sharp as if it was a camera shooting pictures at a high shutter number.
