You can always export your 3D mesh, edit in external software to manually/automatically fill your holes and work on topology and reimport in RC to have the fixed model textured. If the alignment is not bad, it should work.

Something also to take care of is the UV unwrap large triangles removal threshold : if your triangles are blurry, it means that they fall into this category and are only textured on 1 texel (which gives the bluriness). Try to increase this number and redo the unwrap.

Thanks for the tip about the UV unwrap threshold! I think that, along with a bit of Meshmixer, etc. should be able to get me most of the way there.

    Cheers

Please try the following alignment settings in order to raise the density or detail. Please don't understand this as a universal setting. For your case they should be useful.

Thanks for the tip, Erik. I had already tried increasing some of those settings, and achieved similar results. I was going to try adding a few more CPs to help some of the unregistered photos align....but I just got locked out of the file from the 1000 image limit in the Steam version. Argh!

I am hoping there is a way to edit that file and reduce the number of images. I had 996 that aligned, so I could remove the others.

I am afraid this will not be possible unfortunately.
