There is a steam version and steam PPI version, these are two different. If you have a paid subcription on steam you don't need to care about any of the PPI things.

I do believe there should not be a difference in the detail of the texture in the viewport using sweet mode or after export.

This can still be done (not in PPI), but we already have a new function called Image layers which does this job in a cleaner way. Search this in the app help please.

From my previous experiences with RC the details in RC viewport are not near what you have when you export.

Strange. My subscription had ended long time ago but when i renewed it, it shows me that due day is tomorrow... maybe the license activates tomorrow?

    But just to be sure.

If i have steam RC and valid subscription for it, i dont have to use PPI but I can export straight from RC without hassle?

Correct, just as you said and yes it most likely will renew after expiring first, if not make sure to contact our support and we will handle it out.

The Steam RC subscription works. I can export models now

    but

My model has 800 inputs and everyone of them is used for reconstruction. When i tried to give it extra folder for images for texturing in .textures folder it gave me an error about exceeding my licence image count limit.

    so

In Steam RC there is 1000 input image limit. Does this mean the total input  count per project?

    Hello Jani,

there seems to be a bug on our side when loading the layers separately. Please try to create a separate folder with both .geometry and .texture folders and load the above folder, so both layers at once. It should work that way.

We will try to fix this as soon as possible.
