DJI lens distortion database
More than 90% of drones used for aerial shooting in RC and other software are made by DJI.
Too often we see dome effects after first alignment cause the distortion model available such as Brown 4 and so on are not good to solve the distortion made by DJI drone.
DJI Phantom 4 series and DJI Zenmuse camera sohuld fully supported not with a average distortion model but with a specific distortion modelfor each camera.
Thanks!

If you are getting a banana shaped alignment, it is not due to wrong correction of the image, but the technique of the shooting. You should be shooting from different heights and angles while capturing the ground with a drone, otherwise shooting top down from a single height is very confusing for the algorithm. GCPs also do a big job here.

Hi Erik, I apologize for responding to this thread so late. I am having this very problem, shooting a long corridor (abandoned rail road track) and getting the curved banana shaped result. I assumed it was lens distortion and attempted a correction in Adobe Light Room and was researching how to understand lens distortion settings in RC, and ended up here. I was wondering if you have any resources on understanding this phenomenon better and how it relates to choosing a flight pattern technique. Any input is greatly appreciated, thank you.
