About the mesh dencity and model quality... How to forsee the optimal number of verteces for the model.
Having 64 gb of ram and good proc with GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER ac GPU how do I estimate the final optimal model size that my rig can produce?
How many vertices in the model?! Or how many vertices in the part of the model, given the fact that we have no influence on number of parts what so ever (it is calculated by the software with no user control in a separate step that asks for no input).

Hi Ivor, in the RECONSTRUCTION tab, choose the desired quality of the reconstruction - Preview, Normal Detail or High Detail. This setting are sufficient for common model computing. You can see detailed information and parameters in the Reconstruction Settings panel in Workflow -> Settings, and if you wish, you can change them to your required values.
Once the model is created, you can see the number of triangles right next to the model name in the 1Ds view. In the Selected model(s) panel there is summary information on Texturing and a reconstruction Report, where the time of the reconstruction divided into individual parts can be found.
