Export large objects to Unity

    Hi Michiel,

                 please can you show me your unwrap settings for the model?, and also your unfolded model textures from the 1Ds?

    For the unwrap I used the following settings:

    The 1Ds view shows me 67 4k textures

    Hi Michiel,

                  If you would like just 1 texture, you can use the style "Maximal Texture Count" and set "Maximal Texture Count" to "1". The maximum size single texture you can make is 16k using this style. If you want to continue using your current unwrap parameters, you can increase the Maximal Texture Resolution to either 8K or 16k, and although it will still create several textures, it will be less than 50 textures. (17 x 8k or 5 x 16k)

    Hi Wallace,

    Most game engines are limited by texture size, therefore 4k textures would work best for us. We would like however to have one material per texture, with this setup we would have 67 materials. We would like to do this because Unity is limited in the amount of BaseColor/Diffuse textures that can be assigned (I believe the limit is 4) Another problem we face is that the textures are set to different UV spaces (U0V0, U0V1, U1V1 and so on) Would it be possible to set all the UV's to the U0V0 space? Perhaps this could be a setting in the export or unwrap that i missed.....

    Hi Michiel,

                   There is an option to export all the textures as a single texture.
