    Hi Greg,

Do you also have laser scans in your project?

    Hi Greg,

This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next release. We have recently figured out a workaround. It involves editing your .rcproj file so please make a backup before trying this. Open your rcproj file in a text editor and add a line like this:

note that the path is a real path copied and pasted from the line above.

The bug can be avoided completely on new projects, by importing your image layers before the laser scans.

Wallace, Thanks for the advice, however I have no laser scans in the project. Is there some other line that might be missing? In addition to the 16-bit tiffs that got automatically converted I also added some jpgs w/ dulling spray for geo of the reflective surfaces, I see in the .rcproj, these have no layer type="texture" element I tried recreating the issue w/ a smaller set to see if this was an issue but was not able to recreate the problem this way.

I found a partial work around of exporting all my components and models and putting them in a new project. Only problem is I have large model I ran on high that has 300 million polys I haven't been able to successfully import that and I would like to do that.

    Hi,

If anyone else is having this issue, this is a bug that will be fixed in the next release. RC only checks for a texture layer in the first input in the .rcproj file. We can fake a texture layer for the first input, and then RC will know there is a texture layer, and will find your others. You only need to edit your first input.

Here is a typical example, note that the first input (yellow) has no texture layer, but the later ones like the one highlighted in blue do.

You can copy and paste the texture layer to your first input, then delete the wicPixelFormat, height and width, as RC will calculate these. Then replace the path with the exact path of the first input from the line above. Do this even if your first input is a laser scan.
