Ortho in mixed building-vegetation areas

Hello Everyone,

I want to create an orthophoto of an area where buildings are sometimes covered with dense vegetation, see please the picture below. I was not able to solve such areas even when setting the high detail calculation.

As I only need to create an orthophoto exports, is there any way how to sort of blend the image directly in RC and avoid empty areas in final orthophoto image as shown here? I tried several settings in unwrap part with no success.

  Hi Geovot,

  If you have a hole in your model there, you could use this technique to fill the hole before texturing https://youtu.be/D2hFX9eAw1I?t=331  . Let me know if this is what you are trying to do?

  Hi Wallace,

  thanks for the hints. The video was very useful. It helped me to modify the settings for large triangles in unwrap section from 10 to 1000. This solved the issue for all the gaps.

  Hi Geovot,

  That's great you also found that setting, I should have mentioned that. Ideally bump it up incrementally till it works, a huge value like 1000 can also cause some issues.
