Coordinate System Preservation with XMP
I am trying to follow the "Coordinate System Preservation with XMPs for full-body scans" tutorial in order to use fixed camera setup for the reconstruction of a dynamic 4D scan. In details:
- I use markers detection at first in order to get first alignment.
- Then I put 4 points on the floor in order to get ground control points, and update alignment
- then export XMPs as locked
- then define a reconstruction region and export it
For the second scan, using XMPs jointly with images, I can do the alignment but the imported reconstruction region is slightly translated / scaled when compared to the first one. So my two exported models are not at the same position, when compared using Meshlab for example.
Thanks for any help. I don't know what's wrong..

Hi,
Please contact us support@capturingreality.com , it would be great to look at the 2 datasets and the xmps and the reconstruction region so we can make a comparison.
