Exporting Tie Points (not Control Points)
In the Component column after ALIGNMENT, there is a section of Camera Poses, which contains the images present in the component and beside the image's name is the number of tie points. When looking through these images on a 2D window, it is possible to check the "Show Matches" box which shows the matches between two images.
Is there such a way to export these points that were automatically calculated by RealityCapture with the set of images which they matched?
I have been looking through the Community; the posts I have seen discuss only how to export control points or ground control points which were manually entered into the software.
Thank you in advance.

You mean basically the sparse point cloud with the images contributing to each point?
Have you seen this one?

Good day, Götz Echtenacher,
Thank you for your reply.
I am not sure on how to do this, I am lacking knowledge of what variables can be an output.
According to the post, I could create my own export format, if that is so what I think I need are
1. coordinates of the tie points relative to each image (undistorted); and
2. list of images where a specific tie point is present.
However, I could use the sparse point cloud output for (1) since it has the (x, y, z) with respect to a certain coordinate system, but I do not know (2). For example, a tie point has coordinates (x, y, z) with respect to the grid plane, how would I know which images is it present, how will locate the point on these images.

Phew, that sounds very specific! :-)
Not sure there is a function for that yet. I'm not even sure there is a way to identify individual tie points or get any information on them. But I'm not very experienced in this special area.
The only way (I know of) to identify all images that contribute to one tie point is by manually selecting it with point lasso or rectangle (Alignment) and then have all the images displayed by klicking "find images". You should then be able to export the image selection.
