Comparison between Models taken from Two Different Cameras
AnsweredI have a question regarding the accuracy of the models taken from two different cameras, that is one has a higher resolution than the other.
According to this post (https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/115001483911), the accuracy of the model is limited on the resolution of the images, so it is expected that the model reconstructed from high resolution images would have a more accurate model. Can the software provide a numerical value of this accuracy, or the range of error?
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello Ellison,
did you use the same reconstruction mode and settings?
The quality of the model depends also on the quality of the alignment. You can check the reprojection errors once you select the component in the 1Ds view in the Selected component(s) table. You can also export these statistics in the report. You can find more information about reports in the application Help.

Hello Zuzana,
Thank you for the reply.
Yes, I did you the same reconstruction mode and settings, but I have additional inputs for the other camera, while there is none for the other.
Is this what you meant?
Although, I don't know what I can deduce from this information. And I can't seem to find the button to export the Reports in the Alignment tab...

Yes, that is the basic alignment report available directly in the application.
You can export Report via WORKFLOW tab -> section 3. Export. You can choose from several templates or create a custom one.
