I am new to photogrametry and trying to capture my interior. I used my iPhone Xs shooting 4k@60fps and then used the 'Video Sequence' import button to extract images every 0.5 second. This resulted in 2500 images aligned in a single component (40 million tris). I used Normal detail mesh reconstruction. I ran a few smooth/simplify passes inside of RC and got it down to 3 million tris.
It looks decent inside of RC but then looks quite destroyed inside of VR. I did not do any repair of the mesh in another program like Z-brush. Is that why the texture has all the jagged broken edges all over it?
Mainly I am looking for someone who can recognize this issue and suggest an improvement to my workflow.
