    Short update/note to self

I tried to register more photos with the same points and some more points and things are getting better.

I have yet to finish the process but it looks like corridor scanning requires more points, and more photos for the same point to get a nice result.

    Updates will follow..

    Hi Massimo,

also try to start the alignment from scratch once you have all the GCPs established and maybe added some normal CPs to help a difficult project along. Because RC uses existing components and will try to stick to them, which can be a problem if that first result is flawed. I guess with a lot of water in the images it might not be possible to get it perfect...

    Thanks,

the river is used only in flood context, so at the moment of the survey it was completely dry.

I keep on having a nice registration along 2/3 of the path, and a “knee” from there with a huge z deviation.

I I wonder if I mixed some gcp.. I’ll restart from scratch and see if things are getting better.

there must be something silly that I did to screw the registration.

    Thanks again,

    Massimo
