I have a problem with imported models and texture resolution. Here is my situation.
For my work, after I have a generated model I need to export it and rebuild it in either Zbrush or Maya. I also need to wrap the UVs in a particular way for my work. I have set the "Import Model Texture Resolution" set to 8192 x 8192. However, when I import the rebuilt model, the "Texture Resolution" on the model gets set to 1000x1000. This setting is locked and can not be adjusted from what I can see. I do not remember it working this way the last time I went through this process, however I could be wrong. is there a way to enforce that Reality Capture generates an 8k texture map on my imported model? Using RC's uwrap uvs is not an option.
