XMP and xcr:PosePrior
Hi all - in the XMP Metadata output format, can anyone explain what the different values for the xcr:PosePrior attribute do? So far have seen "initial", "exact" and "locked" values. "Locked" seems to do what it says on the tin - RC takes the values in the file exactly as they are. But if we wanted to allow RC to modify the values, which setting should we go for? On the same issue, it looks like the "prior hardness" settings allow us to govern the extent to which RC will adjust the settings - is that the case, and what is the range of values?

All the documentation I can find is here: https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/360019884179-CLI-Settings-Keys-and-Values - it's not really helping :-)

Hello,
When exporting XMP files manually from RealityCapture there are three options for the export mode: Draft, Exact, and Locked.Draft is ''initial''. This is probably what your are looking for, since this settings enables RealityCapture to adjust the camera poses during the alignment.
Exact is ''exact''. It is to be used when using camera rigs, since it tells RealityCapture that relative positions between cameras are correct, but the global positions of those cameras is unknown.
Locked is ''locked''. The prior position of these cameras is known, and it won't be changed if they are imported as locked.
