    Hi there!

    What format are you using?

Also, does the image resolution shown in the selected image panel match the actual image resolution?

This can happen, for example, with a DNG file. In that case, I recommend converting it to a supported file format like JPG.

Thanks Jakub! I use 100% JPGs, I also noticed, it must be a video card issue, if I move the image to another viewport, it clears up properly.

I have the same issue - some photos are always super pixelated in 2D view. Dragging to other viewport sometimes helps, but not always. Interestingly i never had this issue with my old geforce 1060, but it's very annoying on my new geforce 3060 Is there any solution to this? My drivers are up to date.

romullus3d, what kind of images are those? How big they are?

When you wait some time, will be the images unpixellated ?

No, i tried to wait several minutes, but the images stay pixelated no matter what. Mind you i have decent pc with all assets on SSD. I never had such issues on my old pc, which was much less powerful and had only HDDs - images would load to full resolution in fraction of a second.

Can you try clean install like it is described here: https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012151919-RealityCapture-settings

It's a week old PC, everything is freshly installed, including Reality Capture. Are you sure that clean re-install would change anything?

Yes, clean install can help in various issues. If there is something wrongly set, it will give it to the original stage. Also, is it possible to send me some of those images for test?

Ok, i will try to do clean install next time i will work with RC.

I can send you the images, no problem, just let me know how i can do this privately.

    HI,

for me the images are focused/unpixellated almost immediately.

Maybe this article could be helpful (but it is about another image formats): https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/4415924914834-Image-and-video-codecs-and-import-formats

Are you able open those images in another viewer without issues?

I have no issues in viewing those and other images in other applications. Tried windows photo viewer, imageGlass, xnview MP, affinity photo and other - no issues whatsoever. Only in Reality Capture i have problems with pixelated images and only with the new pc. Would it help if i'd record screen capture and show you how it looks?

Yes, you can send me the video of the screen

Hmm, strange thing - i loaded the same project with the same pictures that gave me the issues last time, but this time everything worked flawlessly. I even tried to start a new project from those pictures - no issues. It looks like the issue has gone for now. I don't have time to work on new projects for now, but if sometime later i encounter this issue again, i will let you know.

Meanwhile thank you for the support and sorry for wasting your time.
