Problem with texturing 3D object with 16 bit HDR texture
Hi,
I developped my picture with lightroom to create Tif image from RAW images.
When I import those Tif images, Realitycapture mention that he will use jpg image to create the geoemetry, but he will use the tif image to create the texture after that.
So for now, in my folder I have two type of pictures :
- IMG_8345.tif (original image)
- IMG_8345.tif.geometry.jpg (the one created by realitycapture to create the geometry)
The geometry was fine with almost 300 M of tris.
I check that RC take my tif picture to create the texture :
Even in the script of the rcproj, we can see that the texture layer type which is gonna be used is the tif image.
But when i textured the model I have a very bad result compared to the quality of the photo :
What am I doing wrong ?
Thanks !

Hello,
When using HDR images and converting them into the geometry layer upon the import, HDR images are automatically changed into a texture layer. Make sure to change texturing settings:It also depends on the unwrap. Make sure that it is large enough to be able to have all those details from the HDR images.
