Texture Limit is set to 1, but 2 Textures exported
I have reduced a model to about 4m Tris, set Texture Limit to 1 with 8k res. It always exports a second texture which is 90 % solid color. How can I force it to use only 1 texture?

Hi, can you show how the 1Ds view looks? How many textures are there?
Also, what are your texture settings? -
Hi,
I orginally had "Style" to maximal Texture count (set to 1)
resolution set to 8k.
I exported via the "Wheel" menu top left (fbx format, textures where embedded)
It later worked when I exported out of the Mesh Model Menu "Dense Mesh Model", exported the fbx
without embedded textures. It exported 3 seemingly identical texturres, but only one was used, so it worked for me.
I had already done a lot of downsizing, cutting out parts an retexturing to find the optimal size/quality ratio for my project, so maybe there was too much stuff floating around.
I didn't really get the 1d view before, so I can look at the components and delete stuff in there that I don't need anymore to tidy up everything?

Sorry, inserting images doesn't seem to work, I tried to attach a screenshot of the 1d view
-
Yes, you can delete what you don't need.
to paste image it needs to be smaller than 2 MB.

Wow, you're quick! The image is only about 400kb (inserted it again, only shows a black dot here), but since the problem is resolved, it doesn't matter. Thank you, at least I understand the 1d view better now.
